4/7/2024 - vulgar little monkey wrote: 89 pointsNice, snappy, bright, juicy straightforward Barbera in a technical style. It's about 20% less than the Paitin from the other day and also simpler, but maybe that is just age. Maybe I'll grab a couple just to see but you can't grab everything. |

4/16/2024 - vinus_operandi Likes this wine: 95 pointsIn a word, "Delicious." dark garnet in color. the nose is somewhat muted but classic: rose and cherries. medium bodied with tannins that are surprisingly very approachable at this young age. i get that beautiful 2016 cherry fruit, some mint and a hint of earth. impeccably balanced and still quite primary. fabulous depth of fruit leads to a long finish. give it at least an hour of breathing before you attempt this bottle. an incredible bottle of wine that is drinking great today and will only get better. i think i like the Roncaglie better than the Barolo Dardi le Rose.....time will tell.........this is a classic in every way. what an effort. could easily up-rate this in the future. it's the stuff that dreams are made of........ |

2/7/2024 - Jamieson12o Likes this wine: 93 points2010 Barolos at Terra Rossa with NLWTS (Terra Rossa, Upper Street): Mid Ruby. Entirely red fruited (underripe strawberries for me) on the nose; sweet but not confected. Some florality, cinnamon. Tannins obviously significant but feel well integrated. Palate is a bit more restrained,; feels as though there’s more to come. This is lovely; nose particularly so. 93+ |

3/16/2024 - …. wrote: 93 pointsOpened 3 hours in advance. Elegant and quiet fruity in the expression. Medium+ acidity and tannin, both surprisingly well integrated all ready. It delivers menthol, roses, lots of strawberries, some sour cherries and a little forrest floor. With the air, it presents itself great and the balance is very good. Semi long aftertaste and good depth. Clearly a light and elegant style of Nebbiolo, but with the structure to last for quite a while. |

3/20/2024 - wineamateur Likes this wine: 90 pointsBarolo 2004 with the Jeroboam Club (Little Shop and Pantry, Bristol): Garnet-red, some bricking. Attractive nose with rose petals, cherry lifesavers, balsam and pine. Clean and transparent on the palate with a liquorice core; balanced; evolved and well integrated tannins. Just lacking a bit of grip mid-palate and somewhat watery on the finish. Still, this was lovely in a lighter style than most of the others. |

3/12/2024 - dcbell Likes this wine: 93 pointsAdjectives like ‘pure’ and ‘clean’ are often overused but really encapsulate this wine. Very pale, almost watery appearance. Medium intensity nose with a lot of mineral drive. Lemon zest and green apple, steely. This is all echoed on the palate which has real punch but whilst being phenomenally restrained in terms of the flavour profile - the purest(!) river water on steroids. Lingers on the palate, with an authoritative weight. I really love this style of Riesling which balances restraint and elegance with serious power. |

3/10/2024 - mattstolz11 Likes this wine: 93 pointsThis wine was super enjoyable. opened about 90 minutes before starting to taste and it was still opening up and hitting its stride as we finished the bottle several hours later. its definitely in secondary characteristics with some great leather and woody notes but plenty of fruit in support. well stored bottle with some luck should give a great experience for years still |

2/29/2024 - MuddyBoots wrote: NRA tester bottle to decide whether or not to buy more, since I had missed the opportunity to taste this at the winery. Decanted 30 minutes. Translucent pale red. An expressive but slightly muddled nose mixing florals with a lot of powdery balsamic notes. Lively on the palate, bright and fresh. Full of flavor and drive. Juicy but no exaggeration to the fruit's ripeness. Grippy tannins but they are not dry. Unfurling slowly still in the glass, revealing an unexpected power for a Barbaresco and huge length on the finish that gives the back end of this wine a lot of presence. Serious Barbaresco, needing a lot of time. I will buy more..... |

2/27/2024 - Oknoman Likes this wine: 92 pointsSuper tough out of the decanter after several hours, inhospitable. Tawny in color, a baby at 10? Much better the second day, able to access the fruit with still tough tannin on the front of the palate. Old school love, will decant overnight for the next bottle but could use some more time in the cellar. |

2/17/2024 - salarvcj Likes this wine: 92 pointsDecanted and left for 3 hours then drank with boeuf bourguignon. Should have made notes at the time, but this was very enjoyable definitely in its drinking window after the decant, but still quite young. Good fruit, leather and a floral hint. Nice acidity and tannins not too powerful. |

2/7/2024 - Joshvoulters Likes this wine: 91 points2010 Barolo (Terra Rossa, N1): Soapy and darky fruited, immediately appealing in quite a visceral way even if it's not hugely complex or intellectual. There's a sweet fizzy cola note and an exuberance to the dark cherry nose which pulls you in. The palate suggests that the wine needs time: it feels quite clenched, inexpressive with lots of tannic grip. |

2/7/2024 - Kike Sola Likes this wine: 90 pointsNebbiolo of vineyards located on the hill of Bricco del Drago in San Rocco Seno d'Elvio di Alba, in the production area of Nebbiolo d'Alba, on the border of the Barbaresco area, and planted in 1967 - 1989 - 1999. Pot with skins for 10/12 days, fermentation and aging in oak barrels for a year. Black and red fruit, spices, violets, tasty, delicate, of good length and persistent. Great value. |

2/3/2024 - saulwilliams Likes this wine: 92 pointsStrong taste of tannin. Borders on big body but still quite light. Oak and Smokey without too much complexity which I expected. Decanted for 5 hours which helped open up. Great wine but probably better at the price point |
