Red fruit, cherry, currant, tannins. A good weekday wine - especially with our Roseda dry-aged strip steak, which definitely improved the wine.

I think the wine is good. I am just a hard grader.

Dark ruby in color with a very wide reddish rim.

Pretty nose with chocolates, cedar and vanilla.

Dry on the palate with nice complexity and mouthfeel.

Showing blackberries, black currants, plums, cooked cherries, spices, cedar, licorice, cola, chocolates, vanilla, coffee, peppercorn, light earth, herbs and tobacco.

Long spicy finish with fine grained tannins, herbs and cherries.

This 9-year-old Cabernet Sauvignon from Paso Robles is drinking beautifully now. Spicy, rich and really shows itself right out of the bottle.

Feels Like an elegant Napa Cabernet Sauvignon.

Peaking now, and will continue to drink nicely in the next few years.

I had it 3 years ago, and this time it is drinking much better.

A great sipping wine, but good with food too.

100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes were aged in (50% new) French oak barrels for 24 months.

15.4% alcohol by volume.

$45.

Cherry, currant, some black fruit, a few tannins. Good with Beyond Beef burgers but not that exciting on its own. No improvement from a year ago - even with Coravin pours a month apart.

A fine wine (for our $11 / bottle bargain price on big sale). I see the 2019 vintage is $220 / case at the winery.

Red and black fruits, currants, sone tannins. Better with the hamburgers. But not that exciting for $32 retail at the winery. Over several days with Coravin pours. Better with a Mollydooker shake. Maybe better with time?

Nose was a bit oxydised, but still had good zin richness. Red rim. Packed with flavor. Drinking really well now, a contrast in style to the Seghesio Cortina, which was light in comparison.

Deep purple in color with a short reddish rim.

Nose of blueberries, blackberries, blackcurrants, black plums, cooked cherries, light cedar, licorice, light herbs, tobacco, light vanilla, milk chocolates, graphite, spices and black pepper.

Full-bodied and smooth with medium acidity and long long legs.

Dry on the palate with blackberries, black currants, plums, cooked strawberries, spices, pencil lead, earth, tobacco, cedar, licorice, light vanilla, chocolates, coffee and peppercorn.

Long finish with round tannins and tangy raspberries.

This is a very enjoyable Cabernet Sauvignon from Paso Robles. Nicely balanced with a nice mouthfeel. Shows nice complexity at this point. Showing nice structure. Powerful and rich.

This 7 year old from the great 2014 vintage is drinking very nicely now, and will continue to age nicely in the next 5 years.

Very tasty and enjoyable by itself or with food. A good sipping wine.

I gave it a couple of hours to open up properly and show the tannins. After 3 hours, grippy tannins show up.

Will pair nicely with BBQ Meats. I paired it with a Charcuterie board of meats and cheeses.

This was a full bodied cab, loved it on the palate. The tannins were well balanced with some fruit forwardness, I could taste the mild smoke, wild berries and a hit of coco. This is a great everyday drinker or restaurant buy. I’m adding a case to my cellar for the spring thaw...will pair excellently with a Cuban cigar.

A pretty color of dark ruby with a wide brick/ reddish rim.

Fruity nose with blueberries, red currants, cherries, sweet raspberries, oak, licorice, chocolates, tobacco, spices, earth, black pepper and light pencil lead.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with black currants, plums, cooked cherries, earth, oak, spices, licorice, dark coffee, pencil lead, tobacco leaf, herbs, light vinaigrette and black pepper.

Spicy finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.

This is a very interesting Rhone blend from Paso Robles. Elegant, spicy and good by itself or with food.

This 6 year old is peaking now with nice complexity and a soft mouth feel. An interesting wine, and very tasty.

I gave it one hour in a decanter to open up, and paired it with a Charcuterie board of meats and cheeses. Goes very nicely with the Prosciutto and the wild mashroom Brie cheese.

This is a very interesting red blend from Paso Robles. Showing nice complexity with a nice mouthfeel.

Elegant and stylish. Rich and fruity with lots of earth notes to make it interesting.

This 6 year old is drinking very nicely now, and will continue in the next 3 to 5 years.

I gave it 90 minutes to open up and show the complexity. After 3 hours of airtime, it balances out with much less vegetables notes. Worth the wait.

My last taste of Viognier was and Alban and that was oily, so i was prepared for this to be the same but not so. It was a hard one to describe; it had fruit like soft grapefruit, but was not like resiling, had dryness like a chardonnay, and had a depth to it more like a red wine. It was better than anticipated.

Buncha wines: Straw colored. A burst of wildflowers and clover on the nose, along with papaya, lime, guava, and notes of crushed shells. Full-bodied (14.2%) with a waxy textural dynamic underlined by moderate acidity. Flavors of pineapple, papaya, drizzled with lime and complex notes of chalk dust, limestone sea rocks, lemon verbena, spiced tea. I was shocked to see the retail price, this is bold but complex and nuanced. A blend of Viognier, 35% Roussanne and 15% Grenache Blanc.
