This 70 marsanne 30 rousanne blend declared the typicity of its Northern Rhone roots, called like a siren to be sipped again, and tasted delicious with beet and apple salad, squash croquettes, and grilled octopus. Very fresh for its age; no rough edges. |

Morphed in and out of Rhonedom over the two hour session, alongside (and possibly upstaged by) fellow outlander Texier CDR-Brèzéme, and accompanying braised pork, wild mushroom rigatoni, sweetish fried chicken, and local pan-seared fluke with Brussels sprouts and squash; @ 5 Ocean Long Beach NY. In the end, a very tasty, fresh, and thought-provoking wine. |
