11/22/2018 - Stevo-the-wino Likes this wine: 92 pointsShowed beautifully. Fruit filled nose followed by a wounderful mouthfeel. Harmonious overall with fresh acidity. Great with turkey and stuffing. Tasted against Domaine Jamet Rhône Blanc (which was lovely) and was better overall. |

5/19/2018 - Stevo-the-wino wrote: NRAbsolutely singing tonight. Beautiful fruit but the balance and texture of this wine is what grabs you. 93+ on my scale. (I’m trying to hold my Gramercy wine for as long as possible ... but experiences like this make it difficult. The definition of a “first world problem”. :-) ) |

3/29/2018 - Stevo-the-wino wrote: NRBeautiful beautiful wine. Slightly tart that blew off in 15 minutes allowing an appealing acidity to carry the fruit to a long - fresh - finish. Didn’t think this was possible in a domestic Sauv Blanc. |

Light weight and wonderful flavor ... so nice to drink. A harmonious blend of 52% Roussanne, 28% Grenache Blanc and 20% Viognier. Thank you Mr. Asseo! |

2/21/2016 - Stevo-the-wino Likes this wine: 94 pointsI agree with most all the reviews. Sipped over about 24 hours; great nose, lush mouth feel, and lots a flavors moving around. Really interesting to drink and when I got to the last drop I was still looking for more. What more do you want from a bottle of wine? |

1/1/2016 - Stevo-the-wino Likes this wine: 89 pointsI really enjoyed this wine. This doesn't have the complexity of great Champagne. But, the bubbles are well balanced to the overall weight of the wine making it a pleasure to drink. It's not sweet - but isn't really dry either. This will please any crowd especially if people are familiar with Rochioli. |

9/14/2014 - Stevo-the-wino Likes this wine: 91 pointsI would rate this a little higher than most reviewer's: 91 to 92 on my scale. Nice balance with the little zippy fruit showing through. That said, don't agree with the age scale on this. I believe this is as good as it's going to get. Drink up. |

8/24/2013 - Stevo-the-wino wrote: 91 pointsWonderful earth and funk to this wine. Nicely textured and easy to drink. At $22 this is a great introduction to "old world" styled grenache / syrah. Fun to put along side a $25 "new world" wine and marvel at the difference. On my way back to WHWC.com to grab some more. |

10/23/2012 - Stevo-the-wino wrote: 94 pointsA vibrate nose and a smooth attack with no flaws to catch your attention. This is wonderfully restrained in the mouth with flavors that allow room for food, or your imagination, to fill in the small space left by the wine. Simply the finest new world Pinot Noir I've had in a very long time. 94-95 points on my scale. |

4/17/2011 - Stevo-the-wino wrote: NRI'm right there with Tanzer on this one, which does not happen so often. Color is almost see-through, clean entry, bright acidity, and great with shrimp and lightly sauced seafood. For me ... this is the way Sav Blanc should be. I tasted it at room temp and cellar temp, both were great. 91-92 points from me. Well done Brander! |

12/28/2010 - Stevo-the-wino wrote: 94 pointsThis wine has pure fruit flavors; wonderful balance with good acidity and so it does not overwhelm the palate, which makes it a great food wine. It's like a close friend that stops by to visit, stays just the right length of time while complimenting everyone else in the room, and then is out-the-door leaving you wanting more. I've had this 3-times now with consistent notes. Get it while it lasts ... I think Gramercy still has some in stock (as of 28 Dec 2010.) |

7/14/2008 - Stevo-the-wino wrote: NRJust purchased this from a retailer who just purchased it directly from the winery. Opened last night to celebrate my youngest son's birthday and enjoyed it very much. Subtle but wonderfully floral nose with a softness and balance that is very appealing to the palate. 91 points on my scale. I think this is an excellent example of taking a relatively average wine upon release, storing it properly for years, and drinking it at it's best. Based on W.S. tasting notes age has really helped this wine. |
