11/19/2011 - wineovich wrote: NRJust tried the wine again (at 67 degrees, a little too warm) after the balance from last night was on the vacuum wine stopper(1/2 bottle) for about 14 hours( along with some leftovers of my semi-spicy Paella). We both thought it had a little bit of a 'bite', but thought it did reasonably well. |

11/19/2011 - wineovich wrote: NRWhen opening was little concerned and decided to pour in a big Pinot glass. That was the right move, the pleasant aromas were released. (Poured at 64 degrees.) The blend is a nice choice as the wine is put together nicely. Drank with with some of my semi-spicy Paella, we really enjoyed this pairing. Want to better understand this wine, so put a vacuum wine stopper on and will try in 24 hours. |

I think I need to starting holding wines longer, this wine was really nice, we (the 4 our us) enjoyed it to the last drop. I think the cost was like $8 years ago, but I sure tasted like something $20+. (We've had it at about 60 since we bought it......) |

Decant decant decant, gets better better better. Drinking next to sterling 2003 cab. Nice pair to compare. Each unique, one Wa one Ca. Will vacu and compare in about 28 hours. |
