Popped & poured....
Nose: primarily muddled cranberry, strawberry
Palate: darker fruit up front. Super dry, but smooth finish. Balanced enough (for $22)

For me roses go in 2 buckets: good and bad. & There seem to be more bad ones. This, however, is a good one. Really nice nose, high acidity...good body/mouth feel (not thin). Good (not perfect) balance.

Dark fruit, no complexity at all. Boring, nothing interesting with this wine. I have no idea how a critic has rated this a 91. I had the 2005 version which was far (far) better than the 2008. Would not buy again nor rec.

Sampled this over 2 days to see if it was ever going to open up or come together. It didn't. Immediately upon opening it had the aroma of cheap fruit punch (think hawaiian punch) and had a lot of alcohol on the finish. The mid-palate had some minerality. Overall, however, a huge pass.
