Initially unexpressive but opened in the glass after 15-20 minutes
M nose, cherry, red berry, white pepper
Improved consistently over time.
Probably needs to be decanted or opened earlier.

Very fine sediment, light red, some orange at the rim
Nose of cherry, sour cherry, star anise, leather
Medium body and acidity
Tannins very soft
Faded after 90 minute's.
Very enjoyable old wine. So smooth.

Dark Red and black fruits, still almost primary in their intensity despite the age.
Smokiness, white pepper, hint of sandalwood.
M acidity
M tannins
long Palate but not super long.
From bottle. This wine has plenty of life left (5+ years)

Creamy palate with intense acidity
Palate closed at first, opened towards the end of the bottle.
Colour suggests aging, nose/palate was closed at first.
I guess this is either reopening after a closed period or is closing down.
Fore sure it has life in it.

Strong fruit with mushrooms. Initially concerned of light corking
Medium acidity, tannins medium+ but fully reconciled.
Plenty of time left but unlikely to improve.

A very nice mature bordeaux which drank beautifully with grilled flank steak. Probably conditioned by the bottle size.

Good acidity though slightly drying tannin structure
2 glass more open and evolved than the first
Material improvement on the tasting in 2021

Deep garnet
Intense nose dark fruits and a hint of mint
M+ Tannins but fully evolved, good residual acidity
But the extraordinary evolution of the palate is the key note.
Flavours just run and run.
This wine has plenty (10+) of life left.
Sadly these were the last 2 in my cellar
