Opaque garnet robe with some bricking at the rim. Clean and very intense, complex nose of ripe plums, saddle leather, vanilla and earth. Full-bodied on the palate, with low acidity, medium sweet tannins and flavors mirroring the nose. The middle palate is full and the smooth finish is long. This is a wine which has reached a very nice level of maturity and should drink nicely over the next 4-5 years. Drink now-12/15. |
