Red Blend - Priorat, Spain. #3; VaynerPAZZZ; COLOR-huge dark; NOSE-very creamy; spectacular; berries; very candied; like a cinnamon toast crunch shake w/ some clear cut cherries & raspberries; very French boutique desert Shoppe; PALATE-very fruit driven; big tannins on the back-end; some Pomegranate on the transition to the finish; good length, but the mid-palate is a little boring; a very standard and basic Priorat play; some good black fruit and some good second tier cranberry meets chocolate bar, but I find this kind of thin and one dimensional; JM-96; GV-86 86 points

Mouvedre - Bandol, France. #1; COLOR-dark; NOSE-dark chocolate & cranberry; gorgeous; a little new car leather smell as well; PALATE-very big wine; quite tannic; this wine has "balls"; good structure; lots of dark fruit exploding on the mid-palate (black currants; blackberries, blueberries); then transitions to grainy / earthy tone on the back-end; I like the bitter tannins; a black tea component on the finish as well; the length is quite silky and smooth; get little itsy bitsy blueberries dancing in your mouth and I like it; the flavor profile is exceptional; great length; this is a real stellar effort at $38 bones; this wine trumps many $70-$100 CdP's, Bordeaux's and Cali Cabernets; this is spectacular and well made; will last 7-15 years easy; great with a steak; great wine; WS-95; GV-92+ 92+ points

W_Chardonnay - Sonoma. #2; COLOR-medium golden; cloudy & unfiltered; NOSE-some lemon peel; green apple; creaminess that I like; very classic Chard; PALATE-Wow -- big wine; this has great acidity and great complexity on the mid-palate; has fantastic peach juice; a little creaminess & buttered popcorn on the back-end; great length and complexity, but quite hot on the back-end; very clean; unfiltered; really well made (reminds me of the good Chards from Ramey); not over-oaked; great w/ salmon; will last 3-5 years easy; brings some solid Burgundian characteristics while still embracing the California sunshine; an exceptionally well made Chardonnay; RP-91/93; GV-90+ 90+ points
