Fine, plush tannins with a creamy texture but with enough acid and ripe fruit flavor to make it wonderfully balanced. Flavors linger on the palate and leaves a warm, fruity impression. Excellent wine. |

Strong fruit-driven palate with blackberry and black currant followed by black licorice, menthol, and milk chocolate. Polished finish with blueberry and toffee/butterscotch notes, light hers, clean stony notes a a touch of oak. Modern and fruit-forwards, its a pleasure to drink. (Note the cork was showing seepage on the sides!) |

Taste ripe cherry, vanilla, well integrated oak, smooth but still a pleasant level of acidity. Oak, some chocolate and cocoa, and cigar on the finish. Should be at peak per vintage charts. I'd agree but probably could go a few more years. It is a fruit bomb. |
