Delightful. All in balance with good fruit, acid and a soft finish. Everyone in our dinner party really enjoyed it.

Very light color, good fragrant nose with a finish of tart cherries. Overall pretty good but drink up.

Medium ruby color. Fruit has faded just a bit, but nice cherry and raspberry notes with an small hint of oak.

Good color and nice bouquet of crushed berries. That was it. Thin on the palate and a dry finish. Drink

Purchased upon release, decanted for sediment. Far less structure than I would have hoped for Howell Mountain fruit. Initially not bad, pleasant red cherries and leather. With time in glass, lots of cedar and fruit faded quickly. Dissapointed. Hopefully anyone still holding this has a better experience.

14.5% abv. Darkly colored; opaque purple. Somewhat "grapey" character with herbal notes and dark berries. Slightly bitter finish. A little heavy-handed for my palate.

Really good pinot with dark cherry fruit, touch of cola, black tea and twig. Lively with lots of life but guessing at its peak. Supportive tannins and right amount of acidity on a nice finish. Really didn't need a decant but did improve in the glass by integrating everything over time.

Beautiful, medium bodied pinot with nose of cherry and cola and flavors of cherry, cola and a hint if strawberry. Well integrated tannins and a wonderful dark ruby color. Still got some life in it, but time to drink!

Drinking perfectly now. Integrated tannins, blue fruit all over the palate. Finish seems a bit short but still delicious. Drink now.

P n P tableside at rest. No sed. No bricking. Good to go out of the bottle. solild new world cab. Great nose and palate, no flaws. Tannins soft and just present to give wine added structure. Our wine of the nite, in a lineup of an 83 Mond Res and an 05 Reignac. Finished half way thru dinner, left wanting for more.

Opened and let slow ox for an hr. Drank over the next 90 min. Air certainly helped. Spectacular nose. Baking spices, touch of vanillin, red cherries, hint of orange rind. Good balance. Some development, with hints of tertiaries emerging. Really good now.

Much better than previous bottle. Spectacular nose. Baking spices, touch of vanillin, red cherries, hint of orange rind. Good balance. Some development, with hints of tertiaries emerging. Makes me wonder - should I cellar my remaining bottle for an extra year or two?

Nice nose of sweet, ripe, black fruit. Less appealing palate, sadly. Perhaps going downhill? Lack of acidity hurts; also, a bit clunky and disjointed. A bit cloying, perhaps due to the acidity deficit. I assume this was better 2-3 yrs ago?

Delicious wine with tastes of blackberry and cherry with a touch of spice and minerality. Impressed by how fresh this tasted despite being 10 years old.

Found this bottle in my sister's wine frig. Outstanding and every bit as good as I remember it from year's ago. Great depth of flavor and mouth feel. Tastes of sweet red fruits and spices. A real joy to drink.

It had a pronounced earthiness - would have sworn it was a Rutherford Cab or had some Merlot mixed in (in a good way). The tannins were present but not overbearing, and it had a really nice finish.

I was torn by this bottle. At first I was really happy, finding it moderate in scope with basic Pinot notes of tea leaf and cherry but also a larger Cali presence. However, there was some debate about TCA and the longer it remained open the more it seemed there was indeed low levels of TCA in the wine. 91 to begin 80 with TCA and I'll go 84 as an average based on the overall experience.
