4/14/2024 - RobertLA Likes this wine: 95 pointsWonderful combination of Cabernet and Shiraz grapes. Beautiful length and still showing primary fruit but has developed some secondary bottle characteristics. Has at least a decade of life in it. Really looking forward to having the next bottle. |

2/12/2024 - Alexander Smith Likes this wine: 92 pointsDark Blackberry, cassis, plum, spice, blood orange and black pepper. The palate is big, plush and bold with waves of dark black fruit, savoury spices, fiery earthy notes along with bold tannins, dark velvety chocolate and orange peel. the mid-palate flows nicely with plenty of juicy fruit and concentration, yet never heaviness finishing with spice. This is a benchmark Barossa. 92 |

11/10/2023 - Bonesetter Likes this wine: 93 pointsLoved it! Poured clear, mid-dark red, slight browning around the edge. Heavy crust. Nose of raisins and spices (cinnamon? Allspice?). Palate of dark fruits, plums and fruitcake. Still alive, but I would suggest drinking any remaining stocks sooner than later. |

5/4/2023 - Ray@Heimbuchassoc.com Likes this wine: 93 pointsDrink this now. It is showing a brick/brown color showing its age. I am overly fond of wines that hide their complexity till later in the bottle. This is one of those. It comes on subdued and displays an impressive smoothness in mouth. It is not flaccid indicating that it has sufficient acidity to clear the palate. What pushes this into the above average category is the mint blackberry impression that develops later in the bottle. Grenache has this characteristic: the late bottle WHOA! moment which causes you to take another look at the bottle and pass the glass to your neighbor and say: "Try this!" |

3/16/2023 - Bonesetter Likes this wine: 93 pointsI really enjoyed this. A heavy crust had settled, and the wine poured clear and medium ruby coloured. Nose was a touch subdued, with chocolate and plums coming through. On the palate, the years had mellowed the big, big fruit. Plums, coffee, chocolate. Don't wait too much longer.... |
