2/2/2024 - azwino Likes this wine: NRWow - what an excellent bottle of wine. We did not try it in its youth, but this was still vibrant and very full. Not over the hill, but finish might be slightly thinner than it would have been. Still a great blend of fruit with tertiary flavors. Great with a grilled fillet and mushrooms - really helped express the deeper flavors. |

3/25/2023 - azwino wrote: NRNot what I was expecting. Deep copper in color - flavors or apple and golden raisn. This is way more madiera like than a ice wine. I had a Inniskillin Cab Franc ice wine recently, which was bright and delicious. Either this is a different style or its oxidized. |

10/22/2022 - azwino wrote: NRDecanted for about 30 minutes. Aromas of dark fruit, however the initial flavor profile was a lot more raisiny than the aroma let on. The acidity was a bit out of balance as the primary flavors were faded. But as the wine opened in the glass, the raisin flavor faded and the earthiness and dark fruit stepped up. I have one more left, it needs a longer decant but it may not benefit with continued cellaring … |

The sweetness carries through from the aroma to the palate, and all they way through to a fairly lengthy finish. My last of this vintage. |

9/10/2022 - azwino Likes this wine: NRDeep purple in color. Decanted for about 30 minutes, but could have used longer time.
