Could be my favorite KB. Beautiful light color that glistened in the glass. Red fruits rolled over the tongue nicely. Didn’t take more detailed notes but this was a joy to drink.

PnP, cellar temp. Clear, bright med ruby color. Proper Pinot nose. This is good stuff. Perfect drinking window, completely integration/balance, silky smooth, soft, lighter body, feminine, red/black fruit profile, cool, astringent side of the equation. Delicious, nothing off. Winery direct $95

Showing lots of aged secondary characteristics in late 2023, not really to its benefit. A big wine, not as lean as other producers made from this vineyard. Some ungainliness comes to the fore without acid to balance things. The fruit is still plush, but forward brightness has gone away, now much more about underlying darkness. But not as many layers as I would hope. On the whole something of a disappointment given the pedigree.

I'm more with Galloni than the community on this. As hard as it was to get, and for the price, and from a good single vineyard from which other producers make great wine, this was a disappointment. I don't think it was past its prime, but it certainly was dull with nothing on the palette or the finish to get excited about.

Decanted for 30 minutes. No formal notes, but this was excellent. Aroma and flavors were plush and leapt out of the glass. Sorry that I only have one left.
