Hauvette Dinner:
First wine opened in the night, pop and poured.
A really nice wine for the price (26€), I had already tasted some cuvée of the domain but not this one in particular.
The wine is made with the same plots of land as the cuvée Cornaline but with younger vines and a different wine making.
The color is light, near gamay-esque, but the wine good, a nice acidity, on the nose a lot of red fruits.
On the palate its quite burgundy-like, you really get the grenache with low extraction, you also feel a nice minerality from the limestone soil of St Remy de Provence. You have hints of raspberry, cherry and redcurrant. The acidity make the wine quite persistant and "straight".
Besides all note consideration this is a really pleasing and easy wine, perfect to be drunk as "Aperitif".
