White - Sparkling
1996 Nicolas Feuillatte Champagne Grand Cru Verzy France, Champagne, Champagne Grand Cru
93 points
100% Pinot Noir. Medium-gold colour. Aromas of cocoa, currant, biscuits, and nuts. Medium-full bodied, lovely mouthfeel, with currant, candied citrus peel, and walnuts. Long finish, ~40+ seconds, with citrus, and nuts. Lovely!
White
2003 Newton Chardonnay Unfiltered USA, California, Napa Valley
94 points
Light-medium gold colour. Aromas of bartlett pears, cream, and stone. Full-bodied, unctuous, with spice, pear, vanilla, citrus, and butterscotch on the palate. Great acidity to support the fruit. Moderate finish, 30s, with white fruit and spice. Really, really nice stuff.
White - Sweet/Dessert
1967 Château Gilette Crème de Tête France, Bordeaux, Sauternais, Sauternes
90 points
Medium gold/light amber colour. Aromas of creme brulee, praline, lemon, white flowers, and nuts. Full-bodied, unctuous, with nuts, lemon rind, and orange rind. Long finish, 40-50s, with orange rind and nuts. Drink up.
Red
1986 Château Margaux France, Bordeaux, Médoc, Margaux
Dark ruby colour. Very restrained on the nose. Aromas of pencil shavings/graphite, blackcurrant, and leather. Medium-full bodied with replays from nose. Moderate finish, 30s, with dark fruit.

Not a good showing, so I'm withholding a rating.
Red
1990 Château Cheval Blanc France, Bordeaux, Libournais, St. Émilion Grand Cru
98 points
Dark garnet colour. Aromas of cigar box, blackcurrant, herbs, leather, and toffee. Full-bodied, amazing palate showing cedar box, herbs, and licorice. Really love the texture. Long finish, 50+ seconds, with blackcurrant and leather notes. Fantastic!
Red
2001 Elderton Shiraz Single Vineyard Command Australia, South Australia, Barossa
93 points
Opaque dark ruby/black colour. Aromas of alcohol, mint, blackberry, raspberry, and vanilla. Full-bodied, rich, lovely acidity, with vanilla, blackcurrant, raspberry, coffee/toffee. Lots of silky tannins, but everything is in balance. Moderate-long finish, 40+ seconds, with dark fruit. Will be fantastic with additional cellaring.
Red
1999 Podere Poggio Scalette Il Carbonaione Alta Valle della Greve IGT Italy, Tuscany, Alta Valle della Greve IGT
93 points
Ruddy burgundy colour. Aromas of green olive tapenade, black licorice, and meat. Medium-full bodied, with dark fruit, smoke, and the awesome texture that this wine always offers. Long finish with dark fruit and licorice.
