Tantalizing dark red color. Although labeled as a “Red Wine,” this vintage is actually 85% Cabernet Sauvignon (including grapes from Heart of the Hill vineyard). Very nice wine, especially for the price.

Wow! This wine is a wonderful surprise. It has classic Cabernet Sauvignon tone and nice character. It rivals or surpasses most good (and more expensive) American cabs.

Decanted for 2 hours and tasted then drank again 1 day later. A good wine, but not spectacular. Not up to the usual high standards of Quilceda Creek. Smooth and understated, but lacking in character. Definitely not worth the price.
