popped and pour, absolutely singing right now, a fairly big wine with nice structure and ripe fruit, not overly complex but still a good value play.

still seems a bit primary though it offers generous acidity and freshness. enjoyable drink but still rather simple at this stage

Way too young to evaluate even other 6 hrs of decanting in a mag decanter. Loads of good stuff in there, group originally thought its new world, then thought its Italy.... Overall this appears to be made in a very modern style, and to offer pleasure this needs at least another 20 years

This taste better than the first btl opened a few years back, The group through its old world Rhone. Very oily but with excellent balance, alcohol and oak are both in check. The btl countinued to evolve and improve as the night progress. Sadly its my last btl. I think this can age for another 15-20 years easy.

Drank a mag, still extremely youthful. Not quite the quality of 99 but it does have excellent ripeness of fruit

extreme elegant that is just beginning to shed its baby fat.. a touch of funk that blew away quickly, reviewing a very clean wine that is vibrant, good fruit core but definitely not overripe. It has very good acidity I think the next phase of this wine will be even better

soft tannin, very harmonious, decanted for around 90mins. i don't think it is showing its best at this stage. would wait 5+ years to try the next btl

at 24 years old the wine is still very lively and no sign of fading. everyone at the tasting thought it has more Pinot instead of Chardonnay. Good stony fruit, pear, nuts.. I do not think this wine has reached maturity yet.

solid wine but nowhere near 100pts... a bit of funk, and lacks focus.. love the acidity.

very aromatic, good balance, not over powering, length is a bit short and lack purity but overall a very good wine that is ready to drink and should remain in great form for 15 - 20 years. my btl was decanted for 2 hrs

Fundamentally its a well balanced wine, decanted for 2 hrs... it has lovely acidity, more than expected, good fruit profile, but I feel that this wine is missing body and weight.. can it age.. yes.. will it get more weight as it ages.. I am not sure..

popped and poured, great acidity, good fruit, but a bit simple, missing the layer and depth I look for in a great CA cab. but overall very well balanced and in particular I loved the acidity profile.

the wine is full on.. popped and poured, could have used 2-3 hrs of decanting. fruit is ripe, alcohol is high but in check. showing your CA rhone style typicity.. this is a solid deal if you buy direct from winery.

needs 2-3 hrs at the minimum to open up, Quite jammy, has good acidity, reasonably balanced, definitely not OTT but can use a few more years to mellow out the fruits

typical syrah nose, full body but not Aussie fruit bomb. nice soft tannin that's mid way integrated. Good level of freshness. For me this wine is still not at the peak.. sadly it is my last btl

beautiful nose, but quite frankly that's all its got atm. I am not experienced enough to judge its potential, but for the moment there is simply not enough body nor weight. Decanted and drank from hour 2-4

extremely ripe, almost port like. But there is a healthy dose of acidity to balance the fruit. Sadly I feel that the wine lacks structure and it is purely fruit driven. But make no mistake, it is a great fruit forward wine that goes well with greasy food

It is drinking beautifully right now. Nice cali fruit, not overly extract, smooth velvet tannin that is well integrated. Alcohol level is also incheck. this should continue to age well for 15-20 years

Its atypical of a Cali Chardonnay in that it is neither over oaked or over extracted. It has great acidity, mid to full body, and long length. It is ready to drink now but in no hurry. Reminds me a bit of Rhone style from the tropical notes, honey and butterscotch... but the acidity profile is different.

93 pt as a wine, but only 91 as a cab based wine.. the flavor profile is atypical of a cab, no cedar, no pencil shaving.. just pure fruit.. But the wine is not clogging and has good acidity and lift. So this wine is all about mid palette and missing frame and structure..

btl decant for 5 hrs, then drank for the next 5 hrs.. I do not have a lot of experience with white Rhone varietal so very hard for me to gauge. Good body, texture, but for me it is missing a bit of finesse. For my taste I will not open another one for another 10 years.

decanted in a mag decanter for 2 hrs, well balanced, nice texture, medium + body, very good length. I think this is made in a more traditional style, and not too fruit forward / over powering. it probably has 15 - 20 years of life left.

fantastic body and texture, however it lacks a bit of freshness / acidity, can use a few years to soften the fruit a bit...
