4/13/24, 3:45 PM - This a producer bottling that should not be opened for 15-20 years. That is when it shines. If you don’t care to or can’t store your wine that long, there are other producers who will drink better young than this one. Best to avoid buying if you cannot hold them that long or buy older, well stored bottles on the secondary market. 96 is exceptional right now. Cheers.

10/12/20, 5:54 PM - Can’t remember. All I can say is, I picked this up at Rockford’s Cellar Door in April 2017.
8/18/19, 11:23 AM - Yes, I did. 93 point wine is always enjoyable.
6/9/19, 9:42 PM - Yes, it is!
4/17/19, 7:22 PM - Seriously, why even bother?
4/17/19, 7:44 PM - There are better ways to poise a question(s). Good day to you.
4/18/19, 11:17 AM - thesternowl cheers!
4/24/19, 11:56 PM - Some people simply have nothing better to do with their lives. It’s sad.
3/3/19, 7:09 PM - Thank you. However. I was aware of the timing of ownership change and the change in fermentation practices. My notes were strictly meant to describe current ownership or practices as I always do in listing my producer notes, unless otherwise specified. I always note specific vintage practices in my tasting notes for vintage I am posting, not in my producer notes. FYI.
2/24/19, 8:24 AM - While you can alway enjoy your wines whenever you like, this will benefit from more years in bottle. It still needs time to soften, integrate and gain complexity. For me, I wouldn’t open it for at least 5 years plus. However, I have proper storage and prefer to drink them when they hit their peak. I have the added benefit of buying more wine than I drink and have been collecting for over 20 years. Not everyone has the same set of circumstances to stay patience. I find the majority of consumers drink these types of wines between 0-3 years from their release date and are happy to so. But, if you want the best value/reward for your hard earned money and wish to experience better, very good things come to those that practice patience.
1/30/19, 1:26 PM - I basically had sip as I was leaving. I was late to my next appointment. I wouldn't comment as I just didn't get a good feel for it.
1/29/19, 6:54 AM - Yes, I did.
1/10/19, 2:04 PM - I know that Krug does not make a vintage Rosé Champagne. I simply stated, I like their N/V Rosé over any of their Vintage Champagnes.
12/16/18, 1:55 PM - Because, when you go back and edit the bar you slide to set your rating sometimes has a mind of its own and moves without you touching it. I didn’t notice it changed my score of 92.
