Still very drinkable but definitely on the downside. Needed a two hour decant but still improved in the glass.

Nose of vanilla. Smooth tannins. This has a long way to go and will continue to improve

Tight on opening...needs a couple hours before drinking. Solid balance but doesn't blow me away.

Yum. This is an intense wine with big fruit front to back. Yet it is not overpowering the way many bombs can be. This will definitely become more special over the next 3-5 years.

Corked. Too bad as others made me interested in this bottle. Oh well, we move on.

Wow! I expected this to be going downhill but this is the best Delectus that I've had in a while. No browning with vibrant color. Soft tannins with cherries and spice cabinet nose. Wish this wasn't my last.

Phenomenal. This is well outside the CT window but this bottle has not lost a thing. Hour decant and has great fruit. Opens up over the next couple hours.

Needs to open up and breath for at least an hour , then worth the wait.

To quote my wife, "Yummy." Still very young and likely good cellaring potential. Solid fruit with good balance.

Sadly, I let too much dust accumulate on this one and it is far gone. A sad lesson learned very hard.

What a great bottle of wine. Still has much life so I don’t buy the drinking window here. Unfortunately my last bottle. Leathery tannins perfectly balanced with blackberries and a long finish. I want another bottle—perhaps an auction find in the future.

Still a very fine wine after all of these years. Almost smoky in flavor with smooth tannins and a long finish. Last of a case, written with great sadness

A pleasant discovery for me. Unique spice nose--I can't quite place it. Strong and pleasant citrus and cherry flavor that immediately goes dry as a finish, but does not linger. I will definitely look for more of this.

Wow. I had no expectations for this due to the age, however this was a very pleasant surprise. Smooth as silk and possessing a long finish.

Excellent wine but very unique for a zin. Wouldn't have called it if I didn't already know. A mouth coater that has great depth and complexity without overwhelming fruit. 30 second finish. Vanilla in the nose. A very pleasant discovery. Should cellar well

An excellent find and one on which to linger. Nose of spice cabinet with wonderful balance. It will be interesting to see what aging does with this beauty.

PnP. Deep, full bodied. Notes of blackberry and granny smith apple; the complexity of this wine makes it very special. Very good now, however I expect this to continue to improve over time.

A really pleasant discovery in a grape that is new to me. Soft tannins and fruit depth without coming across as sweet. Very different and I am very ready to open again.

Right now this is best described as “meh.” Lacks solid fruit after one hour with slight bitter finish. Hoping it will develop more tomorrow. This is an experiment outside my normal comfort zone of regions.
