April 1, 2017 - Deck Debut 2017 (Rocknroller's (Kevin & Vicki's Place)): Pale orangish salmon color. Drank 2 glasses over an hour. So happy to finally drink this again. Not exactly hard to come by, but just have not had it come my way. This is such a nice rose and at a splendid QPR especially when had for sub $20. Nice wild berry fruit on the nose with spices and light mineral notes. The palate is balanced, wild raspberry, spiced cherry and mineral with a nice presence. Always a reliable performer and one to seek out when seen on restaurant lists. 90+pts.

(NV Lucien Albrecht Brut Rose Cremant d’Alsace Alsace) An enjoyable, everyday sparkling wine that can frequently be found on sale in grocery stores, this wine brings sweet raspberries and strawberry aromas and flavors. The palate is dry, crisp, and light bodied. Note that I’m listing this wine as recommended as I always see it for a sub $20 price. At $23, I would pass. 100% Pinot Noir. 8,000 cases imported.
