August 29, 2019 - Lieu-dit Cur Blind White Dinner (S.K.Y.): Double blind 07/08 Sauzet BBM & 07/08 Bouchard C-M Cabotte. Favorite of a disappointing flight. An almost Chablis like nose with lots of mineral and salinity. The palate has maturing round fruit with still crunchy acids. Bright acid, but the fruit showing more mature than I'd prefer or guess given vintage.

August 29, 2019 - Lieu-dit Cru "Blind White" Dinner Comparing 2007 and 2008 White Burgundy (S.K.Y. Restaurant - Chicago IL): Served double blind to the group, single blind for me. Very spiced and floral start. Rich and dense with a complex array of stone and orchard fruit with both sweet and savory spice. Evolving and nuanced in a very exotic style. My favorite wine tonight, but few others agreed.

August 2, 2017 - Blind White Burgs - Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet (Acadia): Double blind in a flight of 08/07/06 Sauzet BBM. My favorite of the flight. Full nose of mature red apple and minerals. Concentrated and rich with good freshness. Very good, but showing fairly mature. Blind I figured this to be 5-7 years older.

August 2, 2017 - Blind White Dinner: Top Producers' Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet (Acadia - Chicago IL): Tasted blind. Rich and very dense, so clearly Grand Cru quality and concentration. Peach, baked apple and lemon custard make this seem oh-so-ripe, but clearly lots of structure, minerality and energy middle-to-finish. Wonderful now, possibly a little it of upside, but there is no reason to wait.

September 6, 2016 - DRC Tasting Group (Bellevue, WA): Tasted blind. Show it's age on the nose, with a bit of oxidation. Nuts, almond, honey, wood. Citrus, green apple, ginger on the body. Fine tannins with good acidity. Lovely.
