Monday, May 25, 2015 - Bright fruit and soft textures make this deep crimson wine an easy drinker right from the get-go. Black currant, plum, pickling spice and lavender aromas are followed by similar flavors on the medium-weight palate. With low-to-medium acidity, silky tannins, well-integrated oak and seamless alcohol (14.1%), it glides through the middle and finishes with good length. This is another winner for Buehler, whose "workhorse" Cabernet always seems to provide reliable value. Enjoy it over the next 5-6 years. Drink now-2021.
