Sunday, December 25, 2022 - 25122022 - Christmas night bottle at home with home-cooked din. Surprised with the nose being so Burgundian. Savory, mushroom, ripe cherry, decadent strawberry & so much forest floor + dark spices. Immediately reminded me of the Burgs from Gevrey Chambertin. Palate: well balanced with velvety smooth tannins and structure. A lot of finesse and yet there is some sort of umaminess that envelopes the whole mouth. Lovely from start to finish. Drink now or hold for the next 3-8 years
