Friday, March 25, 2022 - Lots of character in this one. To me not the most representative for Chablis, but absolutely amazing anyways. Full and sharp, powerful and elegant. Just a massive wine!

Big and intense on the nose with lots of white floral scents and fruits such as pineapple, preserved lemon, ripe peach and yellow apple, followed by a nice leesy touch, warm scone, cashew nuts, vanilla, cardamom and mild beeswax. The wood is well balanced in the aromas with a delicate smoky touch, and the malo is definitely present reminding me of Danish “koldskål”.
On the palate, it’s rich and heavy, dry, super soft but perfectly balanced with a pretty high acidity and a sick minerality. Citrus galore, quince and ripe pear, acacia honey, lees, apple pie, nuts and a bit of baking spices. Long chalky and saline finish.
