Wednesday, January 18, 2023 - Coravin fun - Ch. de Beaucastel (My place, Kent Street): From Coravin. Medium minus intensity aromas initially showing a little jammy raspberry backed by peppery spice and earthy notes, with time a little meaty note, garrigue, sweet and peppery spice, touch of leather, cream, orange peel. Juicy, fleshy, savoury, slight meaty, dried herbs, a little non-delineated red fruits, leathery, tight tannic grip on the mid palate. A touch of non-intrusive alcohol warmth on the finish. Balanced. Okay.
