If I hadn't known the year, I would have guessed 1989/90On the nose, there was a sweet note leaning towards marzipan or almond paste, and deeper down, there were also pepper, spice, and tobacco scents. On the palate, the sweetness from the nose was confirmed, making the wine attractive, round, and very pleasant to drink. It paired extremely well with the truffles! The wine is at its peak and already slightly past it.
