Wednesday, April 12, 2023 - Still deep purplish kind of color with some lightening up towards the rim, with perfectly aged color. The aromatics are beautifully balancee between still some ripe dark felruit, but also tertiary notes kicking in. Black cherries, some cassis, it's getting sweeter with some air, but also beautiful strong mineral notes of graphite, lead pencil, some underwood, a touch of mushroom, there is also some soy sauce, dark flowers, coffee, some leather, overall nice complexity and perfect balance of structure, fruit and tertiary notes. It's medium-full bodied, with medium-high acidity and tannin that has melted away beautifully to medium-. Long finish with with building complexity. A beautifully aged complex and delicious Bordeaux. Unfortunately, my last bottle of 12. This could go another 5-10 years.
