Monday, May 22, 2023 - Nose: fig, nutty, honey
Notes: this has been known to be quite dry and rightly so. Not the typical brioche and caramel notes one might find in many Champagne, this has quite some acidity accompanied with nice minerality and a rather steely aftertaste. One can tell that this is build for the long haul and I believe at this stage this is still quite young. Disgorgement was done in 2016 so this has plenty of life ahead of it.
