Friday, July 28, 2023 - Coravin fun - 2009 Bordeaux & Random Burgundies (My place, Kent Street): From Coravin. Oof, a little funky; almost a touch of cellar stink over blackberry, brambles, wet leaves and wet much, also a touch of chalky minerality. With time it gets earthy and more jubey fruit. In the mouth it's juicy, savoury, dark hued fruits show blackberry and brambles, plenty of grip here; the palate showing far better than the nose. Air and time will help. Pretty splendid.
