Saturday, August 26, 2023 - Another excellent bottle of this. Beautifully aged, but still fresh and vibrant, it is medium golden color. Showing notes of orchard fruit, some ripe pear, also some chalky mineral notes, citrus, a touch of nutty notes too, honey, brioche, but overall not very tertiary. It‘s medium-full bodied, with excellent mid-palate persistence, there is some almost creamy mousse, but more vinous in style, it‘s showing racy acidity and a long finish with just a touch of bitterness. A great CdC that is drinking perfectly now. I wouldn‘t push my luck and drink my remaining bottles over the next 5 years or so, it‘s really singing now.
