Wednesday, December 6, 2023 - Crimson in color. 15% ABV. Sublime nose of red fruits, licorice, citrus and mint. Medium body with mouth watering acidity. Well balanced with supple, tart fruits. Cherry, blood orange, strawberry and pepper on the palate. Nice length on the finish. Not generally what I expect from Carlisle with the tart fruits as opposed to bright, juicy fruits. Delicious nonetheless. Best over the next 1-2 years.
