Sunday, December 31, 2023 - New Year's Eve Warmup (State Street Manor - Chicago IL): Powerful black fruit with a richness and full mouth feel of textures. Perhaps mature for its age, but that is the 2007 vintage, and the age has brought forth so many glorious Leroy nuanced elements. Tasted double blind, I did not very well, thinking it Gevrey grand Cru base don its meatiness (not a terrible assessment for Pommard) and Grand Cru based on density (not a terrible assessment for Leroy).
