Friday, December 8, 2023 - E&R Champagne night (E&R Wines, Portland OR): The nose is balanced and fragrant with peaches, bosc pears, red apples, jasmine, white flowers, red berries, biscuits, toast, and some baking spices. There is good depth here with an open-knit style that shows off decent complexity. The Medium bodied feel shows off the balance of the nose along with tart, high acidity. This is consistently good and a constant value in Champagne that doesn't attempt to be anything that it is not.
