Wednesday, March 6, 2024 - Root Day - fair bit of funk on opening but once it got some air there was ripe red and black fruit along with some savoury herbs on both the nose and palate. The finish is medium in length with some spice accompanying the fruit and herbs. Well done and showing some maturity. Drink now.

3/8/2024 7:50:00 PM - This was ordered by a restaurant and never picked up so I thought I’d give it a run. It was actually pretty good once the funk dissipated. And yes, Root days are supposed to be challenging but I tend to have younger or more exuberant wines on those days. 😉
