Friday, April 26, 2024 - Next up was this pair of Rousseaus (non-blind) - this '21 Gevrey village & the '19 Chambertin. Greeted almost immediately by a beautiful/perfumy bouquet of red-berries, spice & some roses. Very easy (perhaps too easy) on the palate, this was extremely pure & lifted with more red-berry fruits. As opposed to the Chambertin, this definitely seemed a tad light-footed, but nonetheless, a very pretty wine and most enjoyable!
