Thursday, May 9, 2024 - This is disappointing. I love crisp minerality, and the acid to stand up to and enhance many foods. But this was, IMO, pretty simple, and green/sour with little depth and complexity. Just not doing a lot for me.
Green fruits, maybe some apple, a touch of citrus.
I cannot say how it will evolve over years.
I can say that i have several Rieslings from Alsace, Germany, and New York that give much more complexity for the same or less money.
I mean, is it "good"? I guess. Would i recommend it? Not really.
Maybe leave in the cellar and see what happens with the remaining bottles
