Friday, November 13, 2009 - Pinot Days 2009 (Navy Pier - Chicago, IL): One of the best wines of the day.
This is the bottling that originally turned me onto Morgan Chard and Pinot.
Awesome super funky earth components with plush ripe perfume of red strawberries and raspberries.
Palate is expansive and shows lots of depth. Serious ageing potential but it's absolutely drinkable now as well.
