Sunday, April 25, 2010 - E&R's Pinot Noir-egon Weekend; 4/24/2010-4/25/2010 (Portland, OR): Quite dark color, showing a rich and creamy nose with some vanilla poking through. Lots of vanilla and some candied berries on the palate. Really tastes yummy. Despite the juicy fruit on the palate, this shows very nice tannin, acid balance on the finish with very nice fruit. This needs years, as not much of the juicy fruits are present on the finish. One of the finer 2006's I've had, and not flabby at all despite it's big fruit. Impressive. 90+
