Monday, November 29, 2010 - Young but not a wall of austerity. If nothing else post 35mins in a decanter it becomes fruit fwd and relatively approachable. Nice elegant nose but palate is not ready yet. Needs 2yrs or so. A relatively fwd (even a bit modern)expression of Barolo and maybe a touch too much wood. Very enjoyable nonetheless but maybe paying a bit more for the Gaja label than needed
