Sunday, September 4, 2011 - Purchased on release. Slightly muddy ruby color with a somewhat muted nose. On the palate this has not aged well (unlike many other vintages of this wine) and is rather thin and alcoholic. Yet another example of the '97 vintage in Tuscany being totally overrated.
