Thursday, January 19, 2012 - Medium deepth of ruby color fading to a purple on the rim. Medium intensity of clean and savoury aromas on the nose together with spicy red fruit and a whiff of leather and bay leaves. Palate is medium to full, with lean fluid texture, quite flavourful and dry with lean fruit, some Cabernet herbaceousness and slight peppery and leathery notes. Tannins are very well managed, acidity is quite high and finish is remarkably good. Food friendly wine with cleansing acidity. Made from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Limnio and Xinomavro. Could age for five years at least.
