Sunday, April 1, 2012 - GJE CRD 2008 and EP 2011; 3/29/2012-4/4/2012 (Bordeaux, France): We, including myself, tend to equate the quality of a Sauternes vintage to that of the red Bordeaux’s which is a big mistake. Dry apricots, cinnamon and vanilla. Good clean silky palate and long finish. Very enjoyable but not a great D’Yquem.
