Saturday, February 19, 2005 - February Portland,OR Tasting Group - 2002 Burgundy + more: Huge amounts of sediment, dark wide brown edges showing substantial age, tobacco on the nose, good fruit still available with candy apple, cherry, and other red fruits on the palate along with the tobacco and coffee notes and nice bottle sweetness, long lingering finish, showing good acid and bottle sweetness, this was a really exciting wine to try. My wine of the night.
