Thursday, October 18, 2012 - Medium lemon. Rich lemon custard on the nose. Marvelously ripe entry with silky texture offset by a sparkling finish full of brine and acidity. Much more structured than it seems on first sip. This fully takes advantage of the ripeness of the vintage while retaining great shape and Chablis typicity. Fantastic bottle, probably the best I've had of this wine. Hard to imagine it getting much better than it is now.
