Thursday, November 15, 2012 - Dark ruby. Attractive nose of cassis, blackberry jam, loam, smoke and herbs. On the palate however it somewhat disappoints given the expectations one has thanks to the nose, being somewhat diluted with astringent tannins and high acidity. Medium aftertaste. Might improve by gaining in roundness and flesh with mid-term cellaring.
