Thursday, July 4, 2013 - The cork crumbled on opening, so not a good start at all. I was expecting this to be horrible, but was pleasantly surprised given the start. Nose is classic russian river; cola, cherries, floral. Taste was equally nice, with strawberry, cranberry, cola. Finish was a bit short, but somewhat expected given the age. I was hoping for much better, but still a very good to great wine..
