Sunday, July 15, 2007 - Dark restaurant, so no comment on color. But after 30 minutes, this started to sing. Red cherry, earth, hint of anise-like spice, and meatiness on the nose. Soft and seductive on palate, with just outstanding texture. The finish was a bit short, but other than that, this was outstanding.
