Thursday, May 8, 2014 - UCGB tasting Bordeaux 2011 (Amsterdam): Overall this is a très Margaux wine with beautiful oak and a lot of finesse. The bouquet is still quite reticent. On the palate beautiful and elegant oak, cassis, dark fruits ok acidity, tannin and bitterness. Not extremely concentrated, but a very pleasant and friendly wine. Early maturity probably around 2018 and fully mature around 2023 – 2025. Nice and elegant wine.
