Tuesday, August 19, 2014 - Bordeaux Star Performers Tasting (8 Danks street, Sydney): Medium minus intensity aromas of black currant, beef extract, leather, biscuit and spice. In the mouth it's all about up front chewy tannin then tart black fruits that are juicy and spiced. The finish is long and a touch warm but nice. I went back to this one about 90 minutes later and it's funkiness quotient had increased considerably.
